At Samurai, we believe high-performance aerosol technology should be developed, used and disposed of responsibly. From product performance and packaging to safer application practices and waste management, we're continually looking for ways to reduce unnecessary impact.
Our Approach
A coating's environmental impact isn't only about what happens while it's being sprayed. Product lifespan, material use, packaging, application, storage and end-of-life handling all matter.
Samurai's approach focuses on four areas:
Durability
High-performance coatings can help restore and protect existing components, extending their useful life rather than replacing them purely for cosmetic reasons.
Efficient Application
Aerosol application provides a practical option for individual components, repairs and smaller refinishing projects where a full conventional paint setup may not be appropriate.
Responsible Use
Correct preparation, application technique and product selection can help reduce failed paint jobs, unnecessary rework and wasted material.
End of Life
Aerosol cans and remaining coating material require appropriate handling and disposal. Samurai provides guidance to help UK customers understand what to do after use.
Give Existing Parts Another Life
Scratched motorcycle fairing → restored fairing
A scratched fuel tank, faded fairing, tired alloy wheel or weathered component doesn't always need replacing.
Refinishing can restore the appearance and help protect suitable existing components, supporting a repair-and-restore mindset rather than unnecessary replacement.
Durability Matters
A Finish Designed to Last
A great finish should do more than look good on day one. Samurai 2K aerosol coatings are engineered for lasting performance, helping protect and preserve the surfaces you restore. By focusing on durability, adhesion and resistance for demanding applications, we help make every refinishing project one that's built to last.
Getting It Right the First Time Matters.
Right Product. Right Project.
Failed coatings create unnecessary material use, waste and rework. Samurai Academy helps customers understand the complete refinishing process.
Packaging & Materials
Sustainability extends beyond the coating itself. From the propellants we use to the aerosol can after use, Samurai is continually looking at how aerosol technology can evolve more responsibly.
CFC-Free Aerosols
Samurai aerosol products are CFC-free. We do not use chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) propellants, helping ensure our aerosols do not contribute to the depletion of the ozone layer through CFC emissions.
Recyclable Metal Aerosol Cans
Our aerosol cans are made from recyclable metal. Once completely empty, aerosol cans can potentially be recycled through appropriate recycling streams, subject to local collection and recycling requirements. Always follow your local authority's guidance for aerosol disposal.
Looking Ahead: Reusable Aerosol Technology
We're not stopping at today's aerosol.
Samurai is working towards the development of reusable aerosol technology designed to rethink the traditional single-use aerosol model. Our ambition is to explore how aerosol systems can be refilled and reused while maintaining the performance, convenience and reliability expected from professional coating technology.
It's part of a bigger goal: to keep advancing what an aerosol can do—both for the people who use it and for the future of the industry.
